In 1970 Laleham was designated a Conservation Area and it is the mission statement of the LRA to preserve the beauty and integrity of this historic village and to support and represent its residents.
The LRA currently stands a voluntary committee of 10 members, who meet once a month and organise all of the local events you see listed on this site.
Laleham comprises approximately 1,800 households. In 2010 we leafleted around 500 homes and achieved membership of over 100, raising £550 for local events and charities.
Who Can Join?
We invite anybody interested in the village to pay a suggested £5 annual subscription for family membership.
You can also become a special member of the LRA by ticking the relevant box on the membership form below. This doesn’t cost any extra but means that we can contact you directly, (by email or telephone), to ask if you have time to help with special projects, open days leaflet deliveries etc.
No commitment – you don’t have to volunteer for anything if it isn’t convenient.
